Alvarez endorser MONTE MONTGOMERY appears in the July 2008 issue of the UK's Guitarist magazine. Pick up a copy and you'll also find he's on the accompanying CD, demonstrating some of his unique talents and techniques in a couple of great, short videos.

In the second of his videos on the free CD, Monte talks briefly about his Alvarez Yairi MMY1, the signature model based on his trusty old custom Yairi. The slope-shouldered dreadnought is made of burled mahogany, true, but there's more to it than that.
